Daisy
Hi Michelle,
I wanted to e-mail you how pleased we are.
The bonding with Daisy has been
incredible. Daisy is warm and loving and
just a pleasure to have around. She appeared lonesome for a couple of days,
but she's adapted to our schedule really well. I think she knows she's
very much loved at our house.
She is so wonderful with
everyone. It is amazing to watch her with our 3
year old. Aaron keeps wanting to sleep on top of her house so he can be
with "his Daisy". The two of them have been together constantly. We
have
a big yard with lots of cats. She loves to explore, but she doesn't really
bother the cats and she has been staying in the yard. She's a very clean dog.
She absolutely LOVES to ride in
the truck. So when my husband, Rick, picks
Aaron up from daycare he stops and gets her so she gets her ride. Everyone
takes turns feeding, watering, exercising and playing and it really hasn't
been too tough to persuade anyone to do these chores. We all really love
being around her.
We've working with her jumping up and it's improving - she has never jumped
up on the two younger boys; just us bigger people. We've also been trying
to get her to play catch and retrieve with a tennis ball, but she doesn't
seem interested yet. Daisy does like to chase rabbits. We're hoping to take
her pheasant hunting this fall; she'll get to chase plenty of rabbits.
Thank you so much for Daisy!! We'll keep you posted.
