Almost 9 years ago, on December 9th, I took Duncan home 
from the Brown County Humane Society.

Never once have I regretted the addition to my life, and I thank God daily 
that the Humane Society does such good for so many animals!

Dunky has given me and my PCAs many hours of laughter 
with his attitude and personality.  He started life so rough, 
I am glad to give him the love he needs.  When I think of how 
he was timid of everything at the beginning it seems like I 
have a new dog now.  He bounces into the room 
with a big smile on his face.

When he is at the groomer's my apartment is so quiet 
and empty.  It is a different type of quiet, not the 
quiet it gets when he is snoring on my bed!

I know he will take a piece of my heart when he crosses 
the Rainbow Bridge, but until then, we will keep laughing 
and thanking Brown County Humane Society for saving him!
