What Can I do?

• Contribute to our permanent shelter fund.  We don't have our
  own shelter at this time and space is limited.  Help us build
  a shelter so we can help more animals.  

• Lend a hand!  Become a member and volunteer your time 
  and talents at fundraising events.  

• Help spread the word.  Tell your friends about the BCHS's
  services.  We are a foster-home based shelter, giving animals 
  no time limits on getting adopted.  

• Be a responsible pet owner.  Keep current ID on your animal
  and keep them leashed at all times.  
  Spay or neuter your pet.

• Be a hero.  Report animal cruelty and neglect to
  your animal control officer, as well as injured or stray animals.
  You may prevent suffering or even save a life.

• Teach your children well.  Instruct them how to care for 
  animals properly and how to treat them with kindness.

• Find that special someone.  Choose your next pet from the
  BCHS.  We have many wonderful animals
  just waiting for a permanent, loving home.
