The mission of the Brown County Humane Society is the protection and welfare of animals through education, sanctuary, adoption and promotion of responsible ownership.

We are a non-profit organization located in New Ulm, MN that provides a valuable service to the Brown County area by sheltering and placing lost and unwanted animals.  Nominal adoption fees are charged to cover the cost of medical attention needed by the pets.  This includes the cost for spaying or neutering the animals.  No time limits are set on our pets that are awaiting adoption.  Please help us make a better life for these animals. Give us a call today and let us help you "make a friend for life“.  You'll be glad you did.
